ABOUT

Throughout history there has been a lot of changes in the world which has affected the culture. One of the key factors that has had a major influence in producing underdeveloped Christians is how Christians isolated themselves from the world.
Many Christians live in a deceptive bubble and they have disconnected themselves from the world and have not connected the world to Christ in a loving, caring manner. There are so many people searching for God but are looking at the wrong places and have not seen great examples in many “Church Going “people. Therefore, the goal of this ministry is to bridge the gap, to introduce Christ to individuals who are searching for God in a real way, by connecting them to Him one relationship at a time.
REGINALD ROSE TESTIMONY:
My personal story may be similar to some but is uncommon with most. I grew up in a Christian home, my father was a minister, who also was a preacher’s kid, who was also a preacher’s kid who was what could be predicted, was also a preacher’s kid. I therefore was a fifth-generation preachers’ kid who one day the Lord would also call to become a preacher and pastor.

Growing up in our household there was the constant pull for ministry and church attendance. I remember going to BTU, Saturday Bible class and Sunday School, hearing about Jesus and learning about the Bible. While being in close proximity to God is different than being in a relationship with him, I would later realize that I was guilty of only being in close proximity and did not really have a relationship with Him.

Every second Saturday of the month we would go out and witness to the neighborhood, knocking on doors and asking people the questions, “Do you know Jesus? And if you died today, where would you spend eternity?” Even as a child I believed these were heavy questions to start a conversation with. And in many cases I witnessed the dread on people’s faces the question was asked to. Were these tactics working? Was it a great way to Connect people to Christ?

As I matured in the faith, I recognized that many of our old ways while they were genuine in nature were simply not affective that is when I realized God was calling for something different. He was calling me to share him in a different and real way, this is how Connect Ministries begin.
